The Relaxation Kit
Produced by the Pain Relief Foundation these four relaxations cover several different relaxation techniques, and work very well even if you are not in pain. It starts with a ten-minute mental relaxation of each part of the body,
Relaxation Kit. The next exercise adds a section to help you relax on the move. The third relaxation uses a 'tense and release' method to relax each set of muscles in turn. The final exercise uses mental imagery and is almost self-hypnosis; I find this last exercise often helps me reach a profound state of relaxation. 75 minutes total. Overall, an excellent course in relaxation skills.

The Breath of Life - Prof Patrick Pietroni.
This CD teaches you how to use your breath for relaxation. Track 1 (25 minutes) explains the different ways we can breath and how this is intimately linked to how we feel. It shows you how you are breathing (
Breath of Life) and explores the benefits of abdominal, or diaphragmatic, breathing. Finally, a relaxing exercise to help you develop this calming abdominal breathing. Track 2 (21 minutes) has more information and a longer relaxation: first a 'tense and release' relaxation, then a breathing exercise to deepen the state of peace. A booklet provides further advice and information.

Breath of Time 3 - Charles Vald
A simple but very effective relaxation method uses the steady, gentle chiming of a bell to set the pace of breathing - and your breath naturally fits in with rhythm of the chiming bells. Soothing sounds of flowing water and ethereal music drift in the background. There are four tracks of 15 minutes each set for six, five (
sample) four or three breaths a minute, choose the rate that best matches your own natural rate of breathing. You may find that you naturally progresses to a slower rate of breathing over time.
