Seashore Sunset
Imagine yourself afloat in an old sailing boat on a warm sunny afternoon. You sail into a bay, walk inland and find a place to relax and watch the sun slowly setting over the sea, Seashore Sunset. Side two is just music and sea sounds so that you can create own visualisation. Full Review

Relaxation Tape Three
This takes you through your body, relaxing each part in turn with the help of your breath. Then comes a brief visualisation and the tape plays out with relaxing music. Side two has another relaxation, with optional 'tensing and releasing' of muscles (Relaxation Tape 3), then a sunset visualisation and music. Full Review

The Relaxation Kit
An excellent course in relaxation skills. First, a ten-minute mental relaxation of each part of the body, Relaxation Kit; the next exercise adds a section to help you relax on the move. A 'tense and release' exercise comes next, followed by a mental imagery session that is almost self-hypnosis. Full Review.

The Breath of Life
How to use your breath for relaxation: Track 1 shows you how you are breathing ( Breath of Life), how this is linked to our feelings and teaches calming abdominal breathing. Track 2 has more information and a longer relaxation; complete with booklet. Full Review.

Guided Relaxation
The special frequencies recorded on this tape will, say the makers, move your brain into the Alpha state that is associated with relaxation. Kelly Howell also relaxes you using your breath and imagery of light and energy moving through the body. Clip on the Brain Sync website. Full Review.

Relax and Release
Several different techniques are used to create a very complete relaxation: Track one uses gentle 'tense and release' relaxation with breathing exercises, imagining muscles becoming warm and heavy, and a brief visualisation Relax and Release. Track two repeats track 1, then adds a visualisation taking you through a rainbow of natural colours: from a field of red poppies to an expanse of purple heather. Full Review.

A Walk in the Country
You stroll down a country lane, past meadows and down to the banks of a brook where you sit contemplating the scenery and wildlife, with some wonderful sounds of nature sample. Side/track two is identical bar the final sequence, which allows you to drift off to sleep instead of returning to full alertness. Full Review.

Cosmic Candle (& Yoga Nidra)
Weird but also wonderful: deeply relaxing imagery as you consider yourself a gigantic candle, and then proceed to melt sample. Sold as Yoga Nidra, 'The Sleep of the Yogi's' - the title of the flip side. Full Review.
